Flying 11s
A youth pathway class. The Flying 11 is a two-handed trapeze dinghy designed for sailors aged 12 to 17 stepping up from the Manly Junior.
The Flying 11 was developed in Australia in the 1990s as a true junior trapeze class. Light, fast and forgiving, it teaches young sailors the skills they’ll need to progress into 13ft and 16ft Skiffs.
Our Flying 11 program runs Saturday mornings during the season with coaching support and a strong fleet of family-owned boats. Boats are available for new sailors to charter while they decide if it’s the right class for them.
